Simon Loos and Peter Appel Transport will merge in 2021. When merging two companies, each with its own corporate culture, it is of utmost importance to create a connection and build a new brand feeling together. It was up to us to give this a big push in a playful way, considering the restrictions by COVID-19 and reaching drivers who are mostly on the road.

Creative conceptĀ 

We created the "Friends of Loos" community, which is a platform run by employees and fans alike. The "Friends of Loos Radio" show acts as a catalyst for this community. It is not a one-time event, but a regular broadcast that takes place on the last Friday of every month. A real DJ, sidekick, technical team, and reporter are present in the country's studio that we built at Simon Loos' headquarters. The radio show provides a mix of entertainment, music, and management updates. It is a perfect blend of information and experience that attracts and engages many listeners every month.

Impressive Impact

Staying in touch with truck drivers and colleagues has been made easier through the use of Friends of Loos Radio. This has helped Simon Loos garner support for the merger and create loyal fans through Friends of Loos. This initiative has been successful both within and outside of the company and is in line with Simon Loos' goal of branding itself as the best family business in the Netherlands.
